About Ventum Watch™
Advanced global outbreak intelligence and pathogen surveillance platform.

Our Mission
Ventum's mission is to protect spaces from invisible threats. We built this tracker because global disease surveillance data is scattered across agencies, reports, and feeds — making it difficult to see the full picture. Ventum consolidates, normalizes, and deduplicates this data into a single platform, updated every 24 hours, with every data point linked directly to its official source.
What We Track
28 major pathogens of global public health concern, selected for their pandemic potential, outbreak activity, and inclusion in leading international surveillance and priority pathogen frameworks.
How We Track
Data Sources
All outbreak data originates from official public health organizations. We do not use crowdsourced or unverified media sources for case counts.
Update Frequency
Data automatically refreshes every day at 05:00 UTC.
Who We Built This For
A single interface for cross-pathogen surveillance data, with historical trends back to 2000 for key diseases.
Configurable alerts for threshold breaches, geographic spread, and new-country detection — checked daily.
Every data point is source-linked and citable, with confidence levels and export in CSV or JSON format.
Data Integrity
Every data point is linked to its original source. Ventum does not interpolate, project, or estimate case counts. Records are classified as Confirmed, Probable, or Suspected based on the language of the originating official report. Outbreak counts reflect events reported within official surveillance windows, not total national disease burden.
Scientific Advisors
The scientific minds behind this map. Contributors include Ventum-affiliated researchers and independent experts whose involvement is specific to this project — through data review, pathogen classification guidance, or research partnerships.

Hervé Fleury, MD-PhD
Scientific Officer, Virology
Prof. Fleury, a virology expert and professor emeritus at the University of Bordeaux, co-founded an HIV unit with the WHO in 2009 and collaborated with Dr. Kachou on France's BSL-4 laboratory. His contributions have advanced global virus tracking and virology research.
